Cold winter months can bring on a different set of problems. Ice dams on roofs, frozen septic systems, and frozen or burst pipes. At Northland Septic, we can help you with any of those problems.

  • Ice Dams
  • Frozen Septic Systems
  • Frozen and Burst Pipes

Ice dams are formed as snow melts on the roof, turns to water and comes in contact with a cold roof edge or gutter. Ice can then work its way under shingles, causing damage to your roof, leaking into your home, ruining walls, ceilings and causing mold.

Keep your system from freezing:

Frozen Septic or Pipes - Placing a layer of mulch, straw or leaves over pipes and septic tank can help prevent your system from freezing. This can be caused by many different circumstances but most common is cold weather with little or no snow cover.

Thank you for your service these past few months. I can easily say that you maintained your portable restroom very well even when it was very cold outside. There may be a time when we will need to service again for a secondary restroom that’s more convenient for our outside workers – but time will tell. In the meantime, I just wanted to say thank you. Keep up the good work.
