Commercial Compliance Information

Commercial septic system compliance inspections in Minnesota are often required during a property transfer or for a building permit application.

An existing system inspection is valid for three years and a new system inspection is valid for five years.

A basic septic inspection reviews health and safety threats, hydraulic functioning, soil observations to verify separation to a limiting layer, tank inspection and checking monitoring/ maintenance issues. A compliance inspection can only be performed by a licensed inspector and you will receive a certificate of compliance from your local unit of government after the inspection is turned in.

A commercial compliance inspection is a “snap shot” of your system and does not warranty the condition or longevity of your septic system.
